Cillario & Marazzi brand strategy

Cillario&Marazzi Spirits Co. was born from the meeting between Attilio Cillario and Gigi Marazzi, friends united by the same passion for good drinking and the belief that a quality product is born only from a perfect combination of excellent raw materials and workmanship that is meticulously crafted down to the smallest details. The company, an artisanal distillery specializing in the production of high-quality spirits and infusions, therefore required a brand and visual communication that were up to the production standards. The Gin, as well as their Bitter and Vermouth, are prepared with skill and refined ingredients, to offer customers a tailor-made production of the highest level using personalized recipes to satisfy every palate and need. The logo reflects the concept of tailoring, the refined and elegant brand with a deliberately vintage look has been embroidered on a woven label.
Thus a close collaboration was born, integrated with an exclusive service dedicated to the distillery's customers, Hotels, restaurants, bar tenders, companies or individuals who request assistance for the project and therefore the design of their bottles.

The Brand identity
Client: Cillario & Marazzi Spirits Co., Cadegliano Viconago (VA)
The Font of the original logo has been redesigned, lightened in thickness and combined with a classic and elegant script: an ideal combination embroidered on a woven label, as if it were a real tailoring. Artisan production of the highest level, a sartorial Gin, created to measure and with the client's brand: a company for its gifts, a prestigious hotel or restaurant, a bar tender who wishes to personalize their offer of cocktails or even private individuals who want to surprise with a special gift, with an absolutely unique taste. And so the woven label is sewn on business cards, on tags and packages as well as having a digital version.


Design of custom labels and packaging

After a careful analysis and a study of the current state, I proposed to the client the restyling of the Logotype they were using. The logo in the original version in authentic Art Deco style remained unchanged and present on the glass bottles of their precious Italian Dry Gin, while it was important to redefine the color codes, the visual language, the styles, in short, to create a graphic regulation for the repositioning of the brand that had to represent the company and reflect its philosophy, the refinement and excellence of the product. The distillery's customers are offered a personalized label design service upon request, to make the production truly unique.
